These international competitions are open to any current University-level (or above) student, in any design category. All student design must be entered in these competitions. Entries may be submitted from any time period of the student’s study (could be a piece from last year, for example). This competition is open to all University-level students (no professionals).

NOTE: THIS IS A STUDENT CATEGORY
So Spark needs you to enter the School you are submitting from. Not your design group, such as KDM+ or the Samsung Design Membership. (Those organizations can be listed second. Correct listing example: “HongIk University & Korean Design Membership +”). It is also a good idea to list your Advisor or Professor, after the Design Team names.

IMPORTANT: do not wait until deadlines to submit entries. Always submit work several days in advance. This will help avoid issues and delays that could disqualify your entry!

Standard Deadline: October 15, 2026 (Midnight, PST/California Time)

Shortlisted Finalist Announcement for Phase 1: November 23, 2026
Shortlisted Finalist Fee Payment Period: November 23 to November 30, 2026 (Shortlist Finalists Only)
Deadline For Finalist Fee: November 30, 2026 (Midnight, PST/California Time)
