Thomas Ilick, Director of New Business Development, 219 Design

Thomas began his career as an industrial designer, then transitioned into R&D engineering, product management, and now business development. Thomas is currently the Director of Business Development at 219 Design. Thomas acts as a client advocate, falling back on his design background to help clients navigate the ambiguity inherent in product development, and assuring that their core objectives are front and center throughout the process.

Thomas has worked for Ximedica, IDE Inc, and Parker Hannifin Corporation, a Fortune 200 company and the world’s leading manufacturer of motion and control technologies. As an R&D Design Engineer at Parker, he helped design and develop the award-winning Snapp fuel filter. 

Thomas is a graduate of San Jose State University with a degree in Industrial Design. He is a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America.
