Lawrence Chu, Principal, Lawrence Chu Design
Lawrence was born and raised in seven cities while having spent the past 10 years understanding China. Currently residing in Hong Kong with roots from Canada Vancouver and then to Toronto where he pursued his Industrial Design studies. Since then he continued to his Master Studies academic pursuit in Hong Kong on Innovation Design Strategies where he continued to refine his Design Thinking skills. Over 16 years of design experience with brands such as UMBRA LLC., BISSELL Floorcare, I.A.G (International Audio Group) developing home utility housewares, appliances, to hi-fi audio. Recently he is working with NIXPLAY developing IoT consumer electronics for elderly segments.

He believes that “Product and services alone are no longer enough, and we must avoid thinking in isolation but systematically bridge product and services in staging experiences that are ‘memorable’ by creating more cohesive and interactive experiences through various touchpoints which a brand engaged with its audiences.”
