Jeff Henry, Principal, Gensler
“Cross boundaries. Blur lines. Listen. And always allow the serendipitous to sneak in.” Jeff practices this mantra as a design director and Principal at Gensler, creating spaces for people to gather, shop, dine, sleep, fly and engage. His multi-disciplinary approach impacts premiere brands such as Barney’s New York, One Museum Place, Shanghai, and the Golden State Warriors. 7×7 Magazine profiled him as one of San Francisco’s “Hot 30” for his rule-breaking design for SFO’s Terminal 2. Recent career milestones include his induction into the Retail Design Institute’s “Legion of Honor,” in recognition of his influence on the retail landscape, as well as the Don Brinkmann Award, which Gensler awards to a staff member whose exemplary talent, leadership, and vision deserve recognition. Jeff’s design vision has been featured in leading publications, including The New York Times , Travel+Leisure, Interior Design Magazine, Wallpaper, and Women’s Wear Daily.
