Ali Javidan, Director of XOps (Prototyping & R&D), Zoox Lab

Ali leads a team of Engineers, Researchers, Programmers, Technicians, and support staff that are responsible for all of the prototyping and pilot builds for Zoox Inc. This team is the first to take concepts and designs to reality for Zoox. Ali oversees labs and teams that span Mechanical Engineering/Design, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, CNC machining, metal fabrication, additive manufacturing, test systems, and many other small functions. They are responsible for everything from building complete autonomous vehicles, to test systems and platforms, to CNC components/3D printing/Fabrication. Ali has grown a team from 1 person (him) to over 30 people from many different technical and non technical disciplines.
