Sally Darby, Senior Strategist, frog design
Sally is a senior strategist at frog design in San Francisco, where she enjoys working with cross-functional teams to design new products, services, and experiences that people love. Sally is particularly passionate about user research. From conducting one-on-one interviews in the homes of medical patients, to designing large scale surveys for enterprise clients, she enjoys finding creative ways to blend quantitative and qualitative research methods to uncover rich and actionable insights for frog’s clients.
Prior to working at frog, Sally spent a number of years in the building industry, executing multi-million dollar projects for clients such as Equinox and VMware in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an architectural designer and project engineer, Sally enjoyed working with her clients to solve complex problems and develop clear strategies to execute their visions.
Over the past few years, Sally has led design thinking workshops for Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations, spoken at Designers & Geeks about the magic that comes from blending qualitative and quantitative research methods, and co-taught an Innovation in Business course at the Haas School of Business in Berkeley, CA.
Sally earned her MBA at the Haas School of Business and her B.A. in Architecture at the College of Environmental Design at UC Berkeley.
