Antonio Borja, Director, School of Industrial Design, Academy of Art University

Antonio received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Industrial Design in 2004. After launching his professional career as a freelancer, he joined General Motors as a creative designer, returning to his alma mater as an instructor in 2009, to teach Design Drawing, Transportation Design, and Digital 3D modeling courses. Since then, he has led a collaborative class that has been sponsored by companies such as Nissan, Peugeot, and Jaguar.

In 2014, he became associate director of the School of Industrial Design, where he works with Tom Matano on many initiatives, including the integration of the latest rapid prototyping and visualization methods into the design curriculum.
