Thomas Illick

Thomas Ilick, Director of New Business Development, 219 Design

Formerly an industrial designer at IDE in 2008, Thomas is now head of marketing at 219 Design.  In addition to new business development and brand management, Thomas also acts as the client’s representative within the firm, assuring that their core objectives are front and center throughout the product development process.

Prior to 219 Design, Thomas worked for Intuitive Surgical, IDE and Parker Hannifin Corporation, a Fortune 200 company and the world’s leading manufacturer of motion and control technologies. As an R&D Design Engineer, he helped design and develop the award-winning Snapp fuel filter. As their Aftermarket Product Manager, Thomas grew Parker Hannifin’s global aftermarket product line enough to earn first place honors in the 2013 Parker Hannifin Global Aftermarket Sales Growth Competition.

Thomas is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Design and a minor in Business Marketing. He is a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America.
