Multiple Pile-up Prevention Guardrail System

The scope of Guardrail design is 'Guardrail Door Design' and 'Pole Design' which grafts IoT technology. If a car accident happens, a driver gets out of the car and opens the guardrail door in order to evacuate to a shelter. When the guardrail door opens, an attached LED tripod lights on, so installing a tripod can be replaced with opening the guardrail door and evacuating. It also can reduce damage of human lives. The pole with acceleration sensor detects an accident and interlock to a traffic monitoring center for notifying the location and time when the accident happened. Also, The poles, which installed at an interval of 100m from 500m of the rear of the accident, lights on LED and blow siren for helping other following cars reduce the speed. LED and siren visibly and acoustically notify that an accident happens in front. As a car is getting closer to the accident place, the color of LED light changes from orange to red color in order to visually inform the distance from the accident place.
