PayPal – Creating Connection Between User and Brand The goal of PayPal’s rebrand was to create a cohesive look and feel while affirming the trust consumers already had in the company. The new monogram creates functional clarity, and the distinct overlap of the double P emphasizes connection—a motivating principle behind the renewed identity. The new identity strengthens PayPal’s equities, and as research revealed, increases user perceptions of trust, energy, youthfulness, and innovation.
