TP-Link Wing is a home networking device that links your TV, smartphone and computers to the Internet. Wing combines the functions of a high speed Dual Band router and a wireless access point. It is designed to provide end-users with a one-stop solution to acquire and share high-speed Internet access over a wired/wireless network. With this product users can now enjoy extra heavy bandwidth consuming applications like wireless HD video streaming. Wing's design celebrates wireless technology by giving it flight! Networking products are becoming ubiquitous and, let’s face it, are typically boring devices even though they must occupy a center place in the home. Wing is totally different, taking router design to a radical new level. The form proudly leaps off the table like a bird or plane taking off. This energetic bird form is perfect for a wireless device that delivers fast and far signals through the air! The actual purpose of the wings is of course to house 8 vertically placed antennas (In traditional router design these antennas are usually exposed rods, and not very attractive.) These hidden antennas adopt the latest 11AC technology and can reach the speed of 2500Mbp with 2.4 GHz and 5GHz band concurrently.
