A growing dependence on devices is fueling a growing dependence on power—but bringing power to buildings is complex, time-consuming and expensive. Traditional building construction was not designed to meet today’s demands for power, leaving workers with many devices searching for power. Completing work in the places power is available often leaves them in pain and without control of their day. The Thread system seamlessly integrates into any space, providing power to furniture and users where and when they need it. At only 3/16″ thick, Thread transforms a space without impacting foot traffic, optimizing real estate and allowing for a greater range of products and applications in any office or education space. Thread’s modular design makes it easy to install in new or existing buildings, and provides organizations with future flexibility for change in design. A variety of connector options accommodate a range of furniture applications and allow previously under-utilized real estate to work harder. Thread’s portable power hubs, designed with built-in cord management and a proprietary low-profile plug, allow users to bring power to any space as needed. The sleek hubs fit the aesthetic of any work or education environment.
