BMW Concept Path 22

Competition: Spark:Transport
Designer: BMW Group Design n/a
Design Type: Concept bike
Company / Organization / School: BMW Group

The BMW Concept Path 22 is a concept study and a re-interpretation of the classic scrambler. It is based on the BMW R nineT, which was designed to be modified according to individual preferences. Familiar BMW Motorrad features such as the powerful twin boxer engine with a cardan drive, the single-sided swing arm and the shape of the fuel tank provide this model with a familiar look. The classic circular headlamp, short seat, studded tyres, large front wheel, slightly extended suspension spring and raised exhaust pipe create clear, agile scrambler proportions. With their striking appearance, these elements are a readily spotted reference to the kind of experience the BMW Concept Path 22 is able to offer. Stripped down to the bare essentials, this bike expresses passion and freedom of thought.
