Yellow dust has become a widespread social problem. Dust masks are essential, especially with toddlers and children who are at a higher risk for respiratory complications. However, because younger children are not fully aware of the consequences, wearing dust masks can simply be bothersome and irritating. Animal filter masks are effective in changing the perception and implementing mask wear to children, because the face-painting-like aspect makes them more approachable to the young. Animal filter masks also promote the health by indicating the level of hazardous concentration of yellow dust and alerting the severity. It is easy to note the concentration of dust, because the sensor at the nose piece of the mask detects the concentration and present it in three different colors.
