The food is exposed to the oxygen when using a general mixer. The food loses flavors and nutrition due to oxidation of the food occurring at the time. Because of that, we applied the vacuum function to the mixer to minimize the contact between the food and the oxygen. The mixer with vacuum function has advantages as below: First, it has less loss of nutrients since it is not oxidized; Second, users can eat fresh food by reducing the foam or discoloration; Third, users can use the vacuum state for storage, which will help them store the food in the fresh state for a long time. We designed the operation unit for easy use. The operation unit is tilted for user’s eye and hand motion. The touch button and the icon applied together to the overall operation unit maximize user intuition. Auto mode automatically runs vacuum and mixing with a single touch. The mechanical rotary switch on the side provides users with analogue emotion and handy operability. The reliability of the product and product function is increased by the generally modern and simple appearance. Transparent and eco-friendly plastic without endocrine disruptors is used for the mixer container.
