The A. Alfred Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning prepares graduates for positions of responsibility within a wide spectrum of organizations and institutions whose goals are to improve the quality of our lives and environment. In pursuit of this ideal for over 100 years, the college offers to students from around the country and world a complement of programs, ranging from pre-professional to post-professional education.

The college conducts cutting-edge research at all scales of the built environment and serves the community, state, nation and beyond with its outreach, partnerships and activism. TCAUP’s 80 faculty and 30 staff members, as well as close to 600 students, form a synergistic and dynamic community within the University of Michigan, one of the premier institutions of higher education and research in the world.
