Lee Chi Wing, Principal, Milk Design
Wing was born in Hong Kong. He received a BA in Industrial Design in 1989 from the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong before joining the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Creation Industrielle in Paris where he received his MA in 1992.
In the same year, he was awarded First Prize in the Domestic Workstation Category of the Habitat European Design Competition.
From 1992 to 1994, he remained in Paris working for industrial design consultant. He also worked as a freelance designer for Habitat.
Upon his return to Hong Kong in 1994, he joined Philips Design in 1995.
In 1998, he set up Milk design, Its main services include consultancy projects of industrial and consumer products for international companies, and conception and creation of lifestyle products.
Under the view that design is simple and human, design is an important tool to provide various possibilities and experience to our daily life, his Feel Good home accessory brand was established in 2002.
In August 2007, the new inflight economy class tableware designed for Cathay Pacific Airways is launched. The aim of this project is to bring out the culture of HK through the tableware design, and to demonstrate the beauty of modern Asia.
