WINNERS ANNOUNCED

On Saturday, June 9 the Art Center College of Design hosted the Spark Design Awards Ceremony and Winner’s Exhibition at their spectacular Wind Tunnel Event Hall, in Pasadena, California. The winners may be viewed by clicking HERE. The event couldn't have been more visually stunning, thanks to the setting in Nik Hafermaas's Openhouse--truly a world-class example of exhibition design.  We thank host Art Center, our sponsors, HP and frog, and many partners and supporters for helping to make the Sparks fly.

We'd also like to thank the many volunteers who have made the Spark Awards possible. Leading the charge--Clark Kellogg, an omni-talented strategic designer who has helped Spark from first breath to its current success. Key individuals during SparkWeek were Otis Brown of Billingsly & Brown AV, the consummate show producer; Ryan Mulroney, Exhibition Manager and builder extraordinaire; Theresa Hulme, Production Manager and Spark Avatar and Valerie Brown, whiz AV tech and the coolest spirit in the house.

Over the last two years all of these companies and folks have given freely of their wisdom, hope, vitality and hard work to see Spark become a reality. They have our sincerest appreciation and thanks.

The events were involving, passionate and not without a few wacky first-year glitches-- but thanks to a wonderful audience and a most supportive team, we all judged the Spark 07 Awards a vibrant success.
