MARK CHARMER, FOUNDER, MOVEMENT DESIGN

Mark explores and interprets new design and communication trends that affect where, why and when we move. He also helps build networks of people, knowledge and finance so exceptional leaders can solve the big system-level problems of our time. Mark is also a co-founder of Akvo, creating next-generation open source marketing techniques in an area that needs it most - halving the 1.1bn people who lack clean drinking water, by 2015. Here he works closely with a new generation of social entrepreneurs active in the developing world. His background combines degrees in both design and business with over 14 years commercial experience in marketing and publicity. He has a Masters degree in Design from Central St Martins College, London (05) and a BSc from Aston University (93).
