JENNIFER BOSTIC, DIRECTOR & FOUNDER, PAPER PLANE STUDIO
Jennifer is Paper Plane's Creative Director and has practiced design in San Francisco and New York for more than 14 years.
Her work has been featured in Communication Arts Magazine, Novum, Graphis, AIGA Exhibitions, the Art Director's Club Annual, and the San Francisco Show, among others. Client of Paper Plane Studio include Hewlett-Packard, the TED Conference, Chronicle Books, and Apple. She specializes in corporate visual voice projects, print systems and books, identity design, and exhibition design. Jennifer most recently re-branded HP's exhibit and trade show environment system, utilizing green materials. She was named by How Magazine as one of the '5 Hot Designer's to Watch'.
Prior to Paper Plane, Jennifer worked as an Art Director at Stone Yamashita in San Francisco. There, she completed projects for IBM and HP. Jennifer worked as a Senior Designer with Michael Bierut at Pentagram Design in New York, designing for a wide range of clients including the March of Dimes, CitiCorp, and Princeton University. She also worked as a Senior Designer at Landor Associates in San Francisco. She was responsible for overall conceptual design for print collateral systems, corporate identity, and packaging projects. Clients included the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, FedEx, Lucent Technologies, and the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Jennifer studied design and art history at Arizona State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Jennifer also was a Graphic Design instructor at the Academy of Art in San Francisco for 8 years. She is a member of the SF chapter of the AIGA, and a proud car-free resident.
