JURY Poul Henningsen’s Artichoke Lamp, courtesy DWR The 2008 Multidisciplinary Bench Spark is honored to present another group of most talented judges in 2008. Each year a new bench of jurists are selected by our Chairs and come from across the spectrum of design disciplines and experts. To facilitate unbiased judging, the juries will be voting in complete confidence, electronically. The second Phase is voted using unique, secure barcode reading PDAs that capture both votes and comments. Each Phase II entrant will download a specific barcode upon registration, and affix it to their entry prior to shipping to Spark. The barcode is scanned by the judges with these devices, beginning their deliberative process. We call this "catching Sparks." Procedural accuracy will be unprecedented.
