If that works for you, upload your work as usual, save as draft, print out the completed reg page and send it & check to us. We'll mark your entry paid in full. (And if that's a bother, credit cards work ok, too.) SCHEDULE 1. Closing dates/costs for competition registration: • Phase I registration deadline: Midnight, PST, September 15, 2009. --Entry fees, $125 pro, $75 Student, until August 15 --Late entry fees: $175 pro, $100 student, August 15 to September 15 (Series entries $75 extra) • Phase II registration (open only to Challenger candidates chosen in Phase I): deadline 5pm PST, October 17, 2009. Entry fee: $250 for each design, $325 each series (no charge for students with valid ID). Entry submissions must be received at Spark by October 16 2. Campaign or series entries for either phase may be submitted with one registration and the entrant charged a single campaign/series registration fee ($75 surcharge per series entry, in both phases). Series entries defined by their strongly linked characteristics or motif; for example, a set of kitchen appliances or a suite of furniture 3. Phase II Entry Delivery: Entrants are responsible for delivery, pickup, additional packing charges and any insurance. All Phase II designs will be expected at the Jury site during the timeframe of September 17 to October 17, 2009. Entries which are not on site by October 17 will not be judged, nor fees refunded. Please send physical designs or models if feasible. If any of your entries are larger than 120” (305cm) in combined length plus girth, and/or weigh more than 50lbs (23 kg), please notify Spark as soon as possible at entries @ sparkawards.com or call 866-846-6715. There are no limitations on size or weight—this information is for planning purposes 5. Juries: Phase I--mid-September. Phase II-- late October 6. Notifications: Phase II Challenger candidates will be notified beginning September 16, via e-mail and website. Phase II Finalists will be announced confidentially beginning October 21, with public announcements at the Awards Exhibition Premiere, October 30, 2009 7. Collection of entries: Non-winners will be notified of the pick-up dates and will be required to have work removed within that time period. Uncollected work will be promptly disposed of, or given to various good causes. The general pick-up time frame is October 21--27. Delivery and collection hours: from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Winners are encouraged to leave designs on exhibition at the fabulous Autodesk Design Gallery. 8. Online Exhibitions: Beginning with entry upload of your work, in three Galleries--All Entrants, and later, the Challengers and Winners. (See current Galleries HERE.) 9. Students and Non-professionals-- Phase II is free--no additional charge for Phase II (only pay for Phase I) (With student ID upon demand). (No business-affilations for non-pro's.) 10. SparkAwards Events: No charge to confirmed entrants from any year, to the Spark Creative Seminar-- held prior to the Award Celebration at Autodesk Design Center, surrounded by winning designs, and the 2009 Exhibition Premiere Celebration, with reception and Spark exhibition: October 29, 2009, at the Autodesk Design Center, San Francisco, California. RSVP required for both events, 2 weeks prior. Seating limited, so "first-come, first-served."
